This was the third time we stayed at Malmaison in Belfast and they are simply getting better and better. We stayed in the Sampson Suite which is really fabulous and large enough to hold a private party. It has a pool table and a great seating area that makes a hotel experience really different and special. The staff are great... more

My boyfriend booked a surpise night in a suite here for our anniversary and it was simply the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Huge bathroom, cool decor and music playing as we came into the room. Toiletries excellent. Only negatives were that when we tried to call for room service in the morning there was no answer and there... more

I stayed here with my wife for two nights in the Samson suite and all I can say is wowwwww!!!! Huge American sized pool table, sitting area with plasma tv, dvd player, open fire and Bose sound system. Then there is the separate sleeping area with the biggest bed I have ever seen, another plasma and dvd player, mini bar,... more

Having just returned from a short stay in Malmaisson in Belfast, it so disappoints me that one member of staff can really leave you angry with the hotel experience. In this case it turned out to be a receptionist who was just down right rude and totally unhelpfull on checking out. Standard room was nice but small, quite trendy. Bar... more

I stayed here alone for the weekend, on a shopping break. This hotel is right near the main shopping areas. A couple of minutes walk from the Victoria Square shopping centre. The hotel room was very plush decorated in dark reds and browns (very opulent). It was dark and cosy with curtains closed and lamps on, but bright during the... more

I don't understand the other comments on the site in light of our hugely disappointing stay in this hotel. We were left with a bad taste in our mouth from what was planned to be a special romantic weekend away, as the experience disappointed on every level. We booked a 'superior deluxe' room but the room was smaller than the... more

I booked the Malmaison Belfast after hearing so many good reviews. Upon arrival we where told we were getting upgraded from the Goliath suite to the Samson suite. The suite was amazing with its 7ft bed, real fire, double sink and shower, rolltop bath, snooker table, 2 plasma tvs, corner sofa, remote control window blinds and extra toilet. The duty... more

Seen this hotel chain (Newcastle, UK) reviewed on an Irish travel show and they raved about it, so we decided to stay in the Malmaison Belfast while taking in a show in the Odyssey arena. First off there is no parking which we didn't think to check before arrriving however there are a few carparks in the immediate vicinity of... more

I stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting Belfast on business in February.Overall, i was quite impressed with the place. It's very dark & has a nice cosy atmosphere, which is nice to relax in the bar but not very practical if you wanna have a shave or read a book in your room as it's hard to actually see... more

This hotel was by no means bad, but did not warrant the expensive price tag and was a big letdown. We arrived at about 7pm and went straight up to the room. Considering we'd booked a superior, it seemed distinctly average compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The bathroom was a bit pokey and could do with a... more
