My husband, my brother-in-law and I stayed for one night only at the beginning of the month and we were very impressed. The house is absolutely wonderful and the rooms seem brand new: quite big, clean, pretty, modern, etc. The breakfast is awesome (3 kinds of bread!) and the hosts are great. The only down part is that the B&B... more

We just returned from a 3 week tour of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. The Killead Lodge was one of our favourite B&Bs during our vacation. Ray and Hiliary made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfasts and there was always plenty to eat. Homemade jams where an added special touch. A... more

If you are looking for a clean and welcoming place to stay with warm and helpful hosts this is the B&B for you. Ray and Hilary made us feel at home, and their recommendations on local restaurants and tour operators in Belfast were very helpful. We passed through Belfast on the last leg of our self-drive journey through the Irish... more

Three women from Oregon stayed at Killead for three nights in March. The Lodge was impeccably clean. Our hosts were wonderfully friendly, without being intrusive, and extremely helpful. The Lodge is very close to the Belfast Intl Airport, yet the sound of planes never disturbed our sleep. Beautiful landscaping and breakfast solarium, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor cats peeking... more

My husband and I stayed with Hilary and Ray last week on our trip to Northern Ireland - the first time we've ever stayed at a B & B. The room was large and comfortable, with a tea service and beautiful views of their back garden and the cows on the farm next door. The queen-sized bed was comfortable and... more

I travel to Belfast regularly on business and have tried a number of different accommodations, including Maddisons (ok) Tara Lodge (very nice) Sommerton House (give it a miss) and Benedicts (nice) However Killead Lodge is by far the best (and cheapest) of them all. The accommodation itself is first class. Spacious modern rooms which have soft furnishings, a very comfy... more

Stayed at Killead lodge for the second time last week, this time with two of my daughters for two nights. The owners on holiday with friends standing in but the experience was just as good as last time. Warm, friendly, the property immaculately clean, spacious family bedroom, great shower, lovely cooked breakfasts and nothing to much trouble. As a separated... more

We have stayed in Killead Lodge Guest House just for one night during our trip to Belfast. Although we arrived much earlier than expected, the owners were ready to make us welcome. Everything there made us feel good: a pretty, cosy, well equiped room, biscuits on arrival, fresh flowers in a vase, extremely soft carpets.. and above all - warm,... more

Ray and his wife were superb hosts for our family. He directed us to grocery shopping in Antrim and the Antrim Park complex for lunch. Ray and his wife also informed us about the Loughshore Park and provided a huge bag of bread, toast, etc to feed the ducks and geese. An extra special touch was "instant banana ice cream"... more

I spent one night at Killead Lodge while travelling on business. The owners gave me a free lift from and to the nearby airport (Belfast International). When I arrived, they provided a wonderful evening meal at short notice (not just defrosted convenience food, either, but an excellent home-cooked meal). The cooked breakfast the next morning was also excellent. The guest... more
