I recently stayed in the Everglades for a 2 night break with my wife and two young children. The hotel was great. It is a little far out from the city, but the location is quiet. It is situtated near some main roads but we did not find any road noise to be problematic. The rooms have been recently refurbished... more

Have just returned from a weekend at the Everglades (courtesy of Tesco Clubcard!) and found it to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Our room was beautifully furnished, with a huge bed and as well as the usual amenities had a music player and even a little jar of bolied sweets! The bathroom had a separate... more

Stayed for only one night and it was a nice triple room, beds were comfy and bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel! Just a couple of little niggles - room wasn't ready at 4pm, check in is from 3 so we had to wait but not for long. There was no hot water in the... more

We stayed in The Everglades overnight in an absolutely lovely room (no issues at all with noise). My only gripe is over breakfast!! It's one of these loathsome DIY affairs which is bad enough, but the morning after our stay, what remained of breakfast was inedible. The what looked like left-overs were cold and the picked-over bread which we were... more

One thing of note is that this hotel is about 2 miles outside of the main areas of the city, and situated between 2 busy roads. The distance into the city may be walkable during the day but probably not at night (though a taxi was only about 4 Sterling). While overall the hotel was fine if you're ok with... more

Having stayed in 6 other hotels across ireland for 1 night each i was dreading going to the everglades. This is because i had such a bad experience at the rest but from i went into the everglades it was warm, cosy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and made sure i knew everything about breakfast etc. I was then... more

My husband booked one night in the Everglades as a birthday treat for me. From the moment we arrived we received excellent service. Our room was huge with a massive bed which was so comfy. The ensuite was spotless and a lovely jar of boiled sweets was left in the room for us. We spent the day in the town... more

Had a wonderful stay at the Everglades last Friday. Hotel has been refurbished, and is lovely and fresh from the moment you walk through the front door. Rooms are quite spacious, with HUGE brand new beds (extremely comfortable) and large wall-mounted TV. Nice little touches like the jar of sweets in the room. Good, strong shower. Lounge area is super,... more

i recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend break with my wife. we had an excellent stay. the hotel gives a feeling of warmth and comfort as soon as you enter, with the large open log fire at the reception area. Also the concirerge that greeted us was very pleasant. our room was of a high standard and very... more

Was due to be staying at this hotel, but when we arrived were informed we were being outbooked, understandably these things happen but I would have preferred to have been informed before i reached the hotel, was outbooked to the city hotel which was lovely and had a great central location and modern, but the everglades seemed to have a... more
