We were staying in Derry visiting with friends in the area. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk from the Guild Hall, pubs, shops, and the Derry City Museum. We found the rooms small and cramped and poorly lit. The hallways were always smoky. The breakfast was self-service and quality of the food could have been much better.... more

Just back from a short break in Derry, never felt more at home! The City Hotel staff were warm and welcoming and managed to have a room ready for us despite our (very) early arrival (8am!) We got a great rate with breakfast included and the breakfasts were fab, full hot selection plus warm croissants and pastries and fresh fruit.... more

I stayed here only one night, but was enough to appreciate the location (near everything:Tesco,2 large shoppring centers,Ulster bus station,tourist office,river,city center...), and the nice rooms,public areas and facilities.
