Visit on 15th August and 16th August 2008 Workman untidy on Saturday and sunday, dust everywhere, bed linen tatty, bathroom with mould, Toilet was blocked , TV poor, window locks falling off, Cups with tea stains, recentlly repainted so strong smell of paint. Car Parking restricted, not enough spaces to accomodate all. All in all this is a motel and... more

I was under the misapprehension this was a new Travelodge. It is in fact a re-branded but not re-furbished former Premier Inn. It is in dire need of an overhaul. We had a non-smoking family room on the ground-floor (possibly room 5). At a glance everything looked 'okay' but on closer inspection shabbiness prevailed: dust, scuffs, stains, discoloured bathroom grout... more

Sadly, I did not check reviews as I have only ever found Travelodges basic but clean and comfortable. This is my first bad experience. Room was extremely run down and shabby, peeling wallpaper, dirty tile grout in bathroom, chipped formica surfaces, no hairdryer. No sofa, or table & chairs. Fortunately we only slept there one night with an early departure.... more

Dirty bathroom & uncomfortable bed. Overpriced for the quality. Don't go to the Indian restaurant connected to the hotel. The food was decent but the most rude wait staff I have ever encountered. more

I have stayed in travel lodges before but this one must be ranked as basic even for trael ladge standards. Cigerette burns in the duvet & Couch - batteries always falling out TV remote gruby room & bathroom. When I enquired about breakfast - the staff were at least honest by recomending Asda rather than £6.50 for cornflakes you eat... more

It's a Travelodge, there's not that much nearby, nice and quiet if you want a quiet time away from the noise of the main road. the Bucksburn Travelodge seems closer to the airport than the airport Travelodge. staff always said hello. more

This hotel has seen much better days. Unfortunately accommodation in Aberdeen is a scarcity, which may go some way in explaining why Travelodge can get away with expecting their guests to slum it. Even for a budget hotel I expect a certain level of cleanliness; this hotel doesn't meet the mark. I have stayed here several times over the last... more

This is the standard UK Travelodge: clean room, beds for 4 (queen bed, sofa bed and pull-out bed), good water pressure in the shower, large fluffy towels, panel wall heater, basic 4 channel TV and tea/coffee making facilities/supplies. Appears to be fairly new, with everything we saw in good condition. The staff were very pleasant, and provided extra towels when... more

This is a very basic hotel convenient to Aberdeen Airport. It is no-frills, and if going you should keep your expectations to a minimum. Do not stay here if you're looking for anything more than a safe place to sleep for the night. more

The Aberdeen Airport Travelodge in Dyce was not easy to find until we stopped at the other one. (The rental car agent had given us directions to another Travelodge very near the airport there.) The room furnishings were sparse, with windows wired to prevent their full opening. ( I suppose this was for security, but we were on the second... more
