I have stayed in this hotel twice now and both visits were fabulous, I wouldn't even consider staying in any other hotel in Glasgow. The rooms are large and airy and, having travelled quite extensively, I would say that thier beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I really couldn't say anything negative about this... more

Typical Marriott. Clean, plenty of room. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom, a little small but nice tub. Breakfast was steep, $30 but anything you could possibly want in the buffet setting. Close to the motorway but no opening windows so no noise. Restaurant was good for lunch didn't have dinner. Taxi's always available and only a 5 minute walk to train... more

Well I stayed at the Glasgow Marriott last week and let me tell you, so lovely! Came to check in and was greeted by lovely friendly smiling receptionists, who checked me in and made sure that I knew everything there is to know about glasgow! They provided me with information about the best places to visit for dinner and were... more

Our son & new daughter-in-law were recently married in Glasgow & had their reception here. We stayed for 3 nights & other family & friends also stayed here. The wedding reception was excellent, was very slick & organised & went very smoothly & the events manager (Sian??) did a great job. The staff were excellent. The wedding dinner was very... more

Wonderful modern hotel. Rooms outstanding. Near highway, but windows seem very well soundproofed. There were actuially 2 windows about 3 inches apart. At least one of them appeared to be double-paned glass. We were in room on 7th floor facing, but on far side of hotel from highway - could not hear a sound. Extremely accommodating staff. About 5-7 blocks... more

Spent 2 nights in June. Asked for a high floor and got a room on the 9th floor (out of 12 floors) in the back facing traffic. Windows were soundproofed so did not hear traffic or the wind blowing. First evening in the hotel, it was rather noisy on my floor, mainly from guests going in and out. The hotel... more

Another night on business...another Marriott hotel. The Glasgow Marriott is very similar to any other Marriott you have ever stayed in. It's not bad, but it's obviously been owned by one or more chains before Marriott and despite the interior being refurbished, it's clearly anything but modern. From the exterior, it's a ghastly looking 70's contraption. The room was ok,... more

I've been a frequent visit to the Marriott in Glasgow for the past few months. Its a franchise Marriott, in a building that was purpose built as a hotel in the 80's and that does show on the exterior of the hotel. Internally it could so with renovation as its getting a bit tired. Rooms are mostly identical, with sweeping... more

I stayed here for a few days on business. The hotel is really close to Glasgow Central Station so easy to get there, a good looking spacious hotel and a warm welcome when you arrive. In fact; too warm! I know it doesn't sound like much, but when you're really uncomfortably hot and can't do anything about it, it really... more

Stayed here for one night before a morning flight to dublin. Walked from railway station. Lovely hotel, no problems with check in, room clean, huge & comfy bed. Mini bar had a space for your own food/drinks. Breakfast at 7am, and although we were first in the restaurant the eggs had been there for a while, and didn't have time... more
