Myself, my wife and my elderley mother stayed at the Sherbrooke Hotel for one night travelling from Southampton to attend a family funeral. We were extremely pleased with our rooms which had been recently refurbished and the new decor was bright and modern but also in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and we... more

This is an excellent hotel to stay in and would definitely be my first choice of hotel if visiting Glasgow again. Our room was huge with a king size bed, seating area, LCD TV, large closet which held the iron and ironing board and tea making facilities, desk. The bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms I have stayed in... more

I recently stayed at the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel, and have yet to have a better hotel experience. when i arrived i found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I was then upgraded free of charge to one of their suites which had recently been refurbished and it was absolutely gorgeous! the room was huge, the decor stunning and the bathroom... more

This hotel is certainly over-rated. The decor is rather naff, and the bridal suite is not up to much at all. The atmosphere is somewhat stuffy. Felt myself stifled for air. Poor air conditioning, or a clammy heat. Food was passably good though. Waiter service was not bad, too. The one thing that triggered me is overhearing the staff loudly... more

My husband and I had our wedding at the Sherbrooke Castle hotel, and I must say the service from the staff in the run up to the wedding was outstanding! Our wedding day itself went without a hitch, and the staff could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. We chose to have one of the new rooms as our... more

My husband and I stayed at the Sherbrooke last September during our 2 week trip to Scotland. It was our favorite place to stay of everywhere. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and very considerate. The food was excellent and the breakfasts huge. The bed was really comfortable and although the time of year was a bit rainy and chilly, there... more

We had heard mixed reviews about the hotel, but when we got there the staff were so friendly and helpful, opening the back doors of the hotel for us so we didn't get soaked going from the car park to the front door. They also offered to cook us dinner despite it being past serving time. We had paid a... more

My family and I have recently stayed at the Sherbrooke Catle Hotel and I was thoroughly impressed by the standard of the rooms, the service, the food and the wonderful staff. The new bedrooms are better than any Hilton that I have ever stayed in! We ate dinner in Morrisons Restaurant, where the food was most definately 5 star, from... more

My Fiance and I were recently due to attend a concert at Hampden Park, Glasgow to see the Rolling Stones. We booked the Sherbrooke Castle that morning and the receptionist gave me all the details. Upon arrival, the reception had no recollection of our booking. After 30 minutes of trying to find us alternative accommdation, we were then given a... more

We booked the Sherbrooke castle as guests at a wedding. I had booked a family room, and 2 other rooms at their reduced wedding guest rate. 3 days before we were due to arrive I received a phonecall from the hotel saying that our room had flooded but we could be offered a room at the same quality in the... more
