We spent a really great weekend at Marks Hotel in June 08. It is really well located, close to lots of bars, restaurants, shopping and cultural spots. The only disadvantage with this is that if you are at the front of the hotel like we were it can be quite noisy until late, but we didn't mind so much as... more

We stayed at the Mark Hotel for three nights in June and loved it. The hotel is clean modern and the staff were really pleasant. A reasonably priced very central hotel near all the sights and very close to the shopping areas. The willow cafe on Sauchiehall street was a bit of a disappointment and very expensive nothing like I... more

I was disappointed by this place. The website makes it look magnificent but the reality is that the hotel has been given a less than complete refurb. The main reception, bar and restaurant have been fully modernised and look great but when you get behind the front of the hotel its disappointing. The corridors didn't appear to have been fully... more

Stayed one night at the Marks Hotel, on a weekend break from Bournemouth. Very friendly welcoming. We arrived in the City at 9:00am and asked whether we could leave our bag and check in later, but we were allowed to check in there and then, which was a bonus. The hotel is ideal for the shops, train/bus station, restaurants and... more

What I liked: A lot of thought put into the design of the hotel and the rooms, felt like a nice little boutique hotel. The breakfast was actually pretty delicious, with fresh fruits, pastries, cheese, yogurts etc. Also, an a la carte menu for those who prefer it. The staff were accomodating in allowing us to check in early, and... more

I was attracted to this hotel due to its funky designs and location, but have to say this was a massive disappointment. On checking in, despite booking an executive room, we where given a significantly small room. On requesting an executive, it was almost given with contempt, despite having paid full price. The subsequent room was indeed larger, but had... more

Dear Trip Advisor, Firstly allow me to extend the sincerest of apologies for the issues you encountered on your stay. It is without hesitation that I say there were failures in both service and product during your stay at Marks Glasgow. Please be assured that your overall experience was an aberration rather than the norm, and we have taken your...

I stayed here while at a conference, having chosen it on the basis of the tripadvisor reviews. It is very close to the city centre, and handy for the central railway station (a few minutes walk). I would not have been happy to be out after dark on my own, though. The rooms are pleasant enough, but the furniture was... more

I stayed here with my 11 year old daughter and was delighted with the room, service and fabulous breakfast. The rooms are "girly" but ideal for a mother and daughter. Great location and staff extremely helpful. Breakfast offered a good selection of fresh fruit and cooked options - all cooked to order. A pleasant change from the dried up food... more

Stayed at Marks hotel for 3 nights and it a great wee hotel slap bang in the middle of town. Its really handy for shopping and not to mention the surronding bars and restaurants. Rooms are a great size with basic amenities, only down side it lacks a few home comforts of a dvd palyer and possibly a mini bar... more
