Stayed here overnight on July 19. This is a really lovely country house hotel in beautiful gardens. Very comfortable room. Very helpful staff. Excellent dinner in lovely restaurant. Good choice of wine at reasonable cost. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. However would not pay rack rate of £225-250 pounds a night - we got a good rate for a late... more

My family (there are four of us, kids 8 and 11) stayed in one of the two Garden Cottages on the hotel grounds. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The cottage was really an apartment, which very comfortably housed our family. There was an upstairs bedroom that our kids slept in, which overlooked the stunningly beautiful gardens, and a downstairs... more

I just returned from a 5 day trip to Scotland and must admit I have fallen somewhat in love with the country. I dont know what they are putting in the water, but I think they may be the friendliest, kindest people of any place I have visited. I was a little put off at first and thought I was... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in early April with the children (aged 8 mths and 2 years) and it was fabulous. We all had a wonderful welcome upon arrival and our 2 year old was promptly lent one of the hotel bears (Daisy) for her stay. Our suite was light, airy and very comfortable, and the girls had a... more

A beautiful country house, in lovely surroundings. All the staff, but especially the two duty managers, took great care to ensure our comfort. We had newly renovated suites which were spacious and luxurious. Breakfasts were excellent and leisurely. Dinner was fine. We were in Inverness to visit relatives in hospital and it was therefore quite an anxious time for us.... more

You step back in history when you stay at the Dunain Park Hotel. Our room was huge with an adjoining sitting room. The views from our room were beautiful and bucolic. We were treated much the way the gentry must have been treated 100 years ago. Don't miss having dinner at the hotel - the food and staff are superb. more

Wonderful location, lovely gardens, spacious rooms (although bathroom fairly small but then what do we use it for?), peace and tranquility, what more could one ask for. The staff were absolutely superb and could not have been more attentive. As a small country house hotel it was better than most that I have stayed in. The lounges were lovely and... more

Wonderful country house feel, we really enjoyed our stop over on the way to Skye. Beautiful building and our new puppy was warmly welcomed. Made to feel like house guests rather than customers I think all the staff loved the puppy; nice rooms we had a large double room with an additional seating area, dinner was very good, very scottish... more

What a disappointment! We received the worst service that we have ever experienced at any hotel in our years of traveling, and we also witnessed egregious examples of poor service for other guests at the hotel. We arrived late on a Saturday evening only to be turned away for dinner, since the hotel would not provide any meals outside of... more
