We, along with our cousin from America, stayed at the Maple Court for a couple of nights. The hotel itself is in an excellent location looking out onto the River Ness and only 5 minutes walk from the town centre. There is ample free car parking at the hotel. We ate in the hotel on our first night and the... more
We stayed at the Maple Court for two nights at the end of September. The room is large, and very clean. The furnishings are a bit cheap, and the bed is just okay. Sheets and towels were clean and average. The bathroom was very nice. The location was fantastic - a very nice 5-10 minute walk from "downtown" Inverness, along... more
l was very dissapointed with the hotel after reading the website the only saving grace was the breakfast. The beds were very poor and so was the restaurant the waiter brought a wine bucket with a filthy dirty cloth around the bottle after paying a lot for the meal l was dissapointed. more
We thank you for your comments, however we have no record of your complaint or your stay at the Maple Court We strive to provide the best of service and without guests telling us that they are unhappy this is an impossible Job. With regards to beds they were replaced 2 seasons ago and they all have an orthapedic matress?...
Myself and 2 cousins stayed at this hotel from Aug 13-17th and enjoyed every minute of our stay. I did check out tripadvisor before I booked but since most of the reviews were favourable, we figured we would give it a try. Yes, I can see where some people would think that its decore is kind of old fashioned but... more
What others have seen in this place, we did not. An adequate place to stay a night, but not much else. We made the mistake of eating dinner there the first night and were sorely disappointed. The wine was good but the food was not. The walls were so thin that when our neighbor experienced flatulence, we shared in the... more
My girlfriend and I have just returned from a short break at the Maple Court Hotel in Inverness. We booked the hotel after reading the glowing reviews on this website. First impressions of the hotel were good, it looks really nice from the outside and is in a good location beside the river. However, when we went inside we were... more
We stayed at the hotel for a three night period and found the hotel to be adequate and value for money. Location is good for walking into the town and the nearby sports stadium. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. We were running the Loch Ness Marathon and they kindly helped out with an early morning breakfast tray... more
Finding the hotel can be a bit of a challenge: Ness Walk consists of three parts, the middle of which is for pedestrians only. The property is kept in its original style and does appear somewhat dated in several places but it does have character and the staff is very friendly and service is good. Our room was a smal... more
This place is in need of some repair and updating. There is a mold problem in the main hall leading to the rooms - you can see mold growing under the wallpaper. The rooms themselves were just OK. I pulled out a stool from under the desk and it had a broken leg. The furniture is old, not antique, just... more
Our Hotel experienced a roof leak in August which has now been repaired. It is a B listed Building with Historic Scotland dating to 1811and is now fixed. I think the 'Mould Problem' in question was actually a damp stain caused by the leak. The hotel public areas were re-painted at the begining of September and the furniture in the...
