We were recommended The Arlington Hotel by friends who have visited Dublin in the past and told us that the hotel was in a perfect loaction for Temple Bar - they weren't wrong, it was just on the other side of the river, about 5 minutes walk away. What they didn't tell us, and what none of the reviews I've... more

The best thing this hotel has going for it is the location. It is in the heart of Dublin City Centre and within walking distance to most attractions. The City Tour bus stops right outside the hotel, which I would strongly recommend taking. We were given rooms on the 4th floor as requested - the rooms were comfortable and clean.... more

I arrived at this hotel on a Thursay evening. The reception staff were all over the place. They seemed to be trying to do a zillion and one things all at once....I am not saying that they seemed under staffed, the receptionists should pay attention to dealing with customers, like they are meant to, instead of trying to see what... more

We have just returned from a 3 day mid week break at the Arlington Hotel, Dublin and having read previous reviews about the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised. All the staff we encountered during our stay were very friendly. We were allocated rooms on the 2nd floor which were really clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, a... more

Myself and two friends just returned from a stay at the Arlington Hotel, and to say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. To begin upon our arrival we were greeted by two extremely freindly helpful and professional receptionists at the front desk. Their local knowledge was extensive and being our first time to Dublin helped us greatly. Knowing we couldnt... more

We stayed at the Arlington for 3 nights in January. It is in a very central location, the rooms are big and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel entertainment is first class. There was a different Irish band on every night we were there and every evening about 9.30pm the Irish dancers come to the hotel and... more

Room was lovely with large plasma tv and lovely bathroom, don`t know about other floors. Breakfast was good. Irish night was excellent but busy and need to book. Would def return. Central... more

If you want to do sightseeing and shopping in the central part of Dublin, the hotel has the perfect location. It's right across the river from the Temple Bar district, and in walking distance to most museums and the like. The rooms were okay, but be sure to book one on the fourth floor, because the pub/dance hall on the... more
