Hopefully i'm not being too harsh with my rating of average. I booked the hotel after having viewed the website (photographer must have been good) and read trip advisor. The double rooms we had were clean and tidy, fresh towels each day. The reception staff were helpful, organised taxis and allowed us to keep our room until after lunchtime on... more

I read the reviews on this hotel before we booked and found that they were pretty accurate. Check in was friendly and efficient and the room was warm, comfortable and clean. We found the service to be good and the staff were very helpful. I was surprised though by some of the recent reviews that I have seen since our... more

We stayed here for three nights in April 08. This hotel was satisfactory, clean and all and all OK. Probably the least favorite hotel of a two week trip to england and ireland. The location althought close to the city is getting towards the bad part of town. One block in the wrong direction from the hotel and you are... more

Just back from the Cassidy's hotel. 4 of us over for the weekend and found this to be perfectly positioned for the city. Lovely clean rooms and excellent hearty breakfast. Were situated on the ground floor so it could get a bit noisy with people coming/going - especially the cleaning staff early in the morning but nothing to complain about.... more

The Hotel was in a great location and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, I found our bathroom to be quite grubby. There were hairs all over the floor, dirt on the bath panel and I had to clean previous guests faeces off the toilet seat!! The shower head was also held on with what appeared to be a... more

Had two rooms booked for two couples. Check in was supposed to be no earlier than 3pm, we arrived at 1pm and were made more than welcome and we checked in at 1 with no problems. Rooms were very clean, staff were polite and well dressed, food and drink was reasonably priced and the food was of a excellent standard.... more

We just returned from a 4 night stay. Our stay was quite enjoyable. The hotel is in easy walking distance from the Temple bar area and Trinity College. The room was small but sufficient. The breakfast was good. We never had to wait to get a table and the waitstaff was helpful. The bar area was fine too. All in... more

We were looking for a centrally located 3 star hotel that was clean, safe, affordable, and with a few amenities. Cassidy's fit the bill for our family. The rooms are a little small, but they were clean and quiet. We found the food to be good, and the service to be attentive. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking... more

Upon our arrival into Dublin, we found the hotel easy enough, but the parking lot (one alley with about 10 spaces) took 6 times driving around the block and twice asking for directions. We almost had to resort to taking one of employees to physically show us where it was. The lot was crammed into a back alley with nothing... more

March 1-4 2008 Ideal location at the top of O'Connell street. Rooms were nice and clean and spacious. Bathroom was nice and clean although a little dated, needs a touch of TLC. Rooms at the rear of the hotel are better as they are quieter, but don't expect a great view from there, just the rear of buildings and the... more
