We stayed at Blooms Hotel from Tuesday to Saturday, and were lucky to get a refurbished twin room on the third floor. The first two nights (Tue to Thu) were okay but as soon as the weekend was approaching, the problems began. It is true what many other have written here: you cannot avoid hearing the nightclub even on the... more

We took advantage of a special offer to stay Sunday tu Thursday at Blooms, and considered that we got excellent value. This hotel issituated in the centre of Dublin, within easy reach of Temple Bar, O'Connell St. and Grafton St. areas. We arrived at 12.00 noon but were allowed to check in immediately and were given a room 309 on the 3rd... more

The Blooms hotel is very central, good value for money and if you get a refurbed room, really nice. However, unless you are on floor 4 you will hear noise from the nightclub. I went with friends and we fully expected to hear noise outside due to the location of Club M. However, our room on the second floor was... more

We stayed at the Blooms in May. For our first time to Ireland, it was a very disappointing hotel! It was very expensive for what you got-the carpet was dirty, we had a hole in the wall, the tv did not work, the bathroom was so tiny and it was very noisy!!! Yes, it is a nice location and yes,... more

I have stayed in blooms a few times over the last year. The hotel is in a great location, the staff are friendly and really make you feel welcome. The rooms are a bit old but they have everything you need. The hotel is currently under going refurbishment and on my last visit i got a new room and it... more

We stayed in this hotel from saturday till monday and we couldnt have got a more central hotel to all the action of temple bar. We had the best room plenty of space and a massive balcony, this hotel has a bar and club attached so is ideal for young people wanting to have a good time and party late.... more

My fiance and I stayed here the other day after seeing Billy Connolly at The Olympia. Upon entering the hotel we were disgusted with the pungent stench in the lobby. Secondly, our room was a disgrace. The floorboards creaked loudly, the shower head was dirty, there were no shelves for toiletries, there was a hole in the wall with tissue... more

The industrial size skip outside was a bit offputting but the location could not have been better. Although the rooms were shabby everything was clean and the bedding spotless. You pay a premium to be in Temple Bar. Go further out and you will get more for your money but if you want to be in the thick of it... more
