Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived it was a disaster. The booking prices we were quoted were incorrect and ended up costing a lot more money then we thought. The showers do not work at all, our room had a dribble of water coming out of it that proved useless... more

May 2008. If you like the sound of your children being electrocuted or roasted alive this is the hotel for you. It provided further surprises by charging you an extra 10 Euro per night or the "parking facilities" I suppose I must explain further. I stayed in room 22 in the Maple or was it the Othello. Was it a... more

I was a bit scared after reading some of the other traveler reviews- this is not a 4 star hotel but it had everything we needed (except an alarm clock!). The room was quite small, however, everything in Dublin is small so this was not a big deal. The room was SUPER clean, which was nice. The shower was teeny... more

I stayed there in sept 07 and found the place to be in an excellent location and right priced for where it is in the City centre. Rooms clean and breakfast lots provided. So if you want five star you have to pay five star thats what i've found while travelling around the globe. more

This hotel is in a great location in dublin, only a few minutes walk from O'Connell St. The staff and especially the owner were all very friendly and only to kind to help with all queries including places to go and transportation to the airport. We stayed in a room good for 4 people and it was very spacious and... more

We as a group of six have been using this hotel yearly since 1992 and have without exception thoroughly enjoyed our visits. The staff have never been less than friendly, cheerful and helpful. You wont get a better breakfast anywhere in the world. On my first visit I said that I would have a full English breakfast and was told... more

A reasonable price for an hotel which provide small but clean rooms and bathrooms. Beds are comfortable and the toilet towels are changed every days. The hotel is located at 3 min from one of the main shopping center (O'Connell street) and a nice pub is just at the corner of the road. The breakfast is included in the price... more

I am not reviewing this hotel, just wondering how valid the positive review about the hotel is which was submitted by people who claim they are from 'Whales'?. Surely if you live there, then you know that it is spelled Wales. And how come you mention two of the staff by name, which never happens in these reviews. Could it... more
