On our recent trip to the uk we stayed in at least 20 Hotels and the Maple Hotel was the worst. (I wouldnt call it a Hotel, more a dingey old B & B)It was damp and smelt, the room only had an old bath , no shower.Compared to other hotels/ B & B,s the rate of 96 Euro per... more

This hotel appeared to be ok from the outside and the reception area was pleasant, but as soon as you go to the rooms its a different story. The rooms were damp, small, the decoration was so dated, carpet filthy and stained, an absolute hell hole. Staff were very unhelpful and were too engrossed in texting their mates to help... more

Myself and my wife found Maple Hotel in the Be Our Guest book. We were very happy with our stay. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We found the staff to be very helpfull and extremly attentive. We were in the center of the city close to all the attractions. We would highly reccomend this hotel to others. more

I am dumbfounded to read the previous trip advisor comments. My wife and I and two other couples from Whales have just returned from the maple Hotel and have enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. We found the rooms very cheerful and the beds most comfortable and very clean. The dinning room staff Carmel and Linda served excellent breakfasts and were... more

Do not stay here! Our room was damp, dingy, and there were bugs in the old shag carpet. The breakfast was just passable. The staff were pretty unresponsive also. There are many better places to stay within a block of this place for the same price or less. Try the Anchor Guesthouse, you'll be happy you did. more

Small but charming b&b in a great location. If it's a view you're looking for, this is the wrong hotel because it's in the heart of town. Mary Sharkey is a lovely lady who makes interesting conversation. I had planned a long full day tour - had to be at the train station by 7am and didn't arrive back until... more

After trying several hotels in Dublin, The Maple has to be the best. The staff are always helpful, lovely clean rooms, beds are always fresh and towels in ample supply. Can't understand criticisms, if people want more facilities i.e. Mini-bars, they should book into a hotel that has them. The hotel is in a perfect position, near to shops, bars... more

My partner and I had a very comfortable stay recently in the Maple Hotel Dublin. Our room was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Linda and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good and the hotel is only minutes from all the main attractions. I would have no hesitations in recommending this hotel! A perfect place to... more

We were given a room on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. OK, it had been raining that week (isn't it always in Ireland ?) but the room was distinctly cold and damp. It smelled bad and we were concerned that we might end up with some damp-related illness. Also it was incredibly small and had an... more

For three ladies from Norway on a long weekend trip to Dublin, the Maple Hotel was perfect. Short walking distance to the main streets, clean and spacious room, lovely breakfast, good service and friendly staff. And of course a cosy pub on the nearest corner. Thanks for a great stay! more
