This bed and breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic and it's in a very nice part of town. You can walk to the shopping area of town in 10 minutes. The rooms are small but ours was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in room 18 which is a good room because it faces... more

My friend and I stayed at Kilronan House for three nights. After e-mails with Laura, we received exactly the room we asked for, on the floor above reception. The reception staff were very warm and friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also liked their genuine interest, at the end of the day, in how our day had gone. Our... more

Just returned from a long weekend at Kilronan House and had a lovely time. Great location, just around the corner from St Stephen’s Green and not far from the Grafton Street shops. It felt really safe to walk the area, even at night. Although our twin room wasn’t very big, it was fine, with small en-suite, flat screen tv, hairdryer,... more

I've chosen Kilronan house for its fab position 5' from Stephen's green. Its fares are comparable to the cheap B&B north of town, but it's really close to the centre, to pubs, to companies and historical sites. The rooms are in the average for guest houses. The breakfast is a very strong selling point for Kilronan house: the menu is... more

Stayed here for three nights. The guesthouse is fairly central but away from noisy night clubs and bars which drags down many places in Dublin. You can easily walk into the centre, especially during the day when the St Stephen’s Green park is open. The staff are friendly and helpful but overall it is an average place to stay. It... more

We stayed at Kilronan House for three nights at the end of our trip to Ireland. On previous visits we have stayed in Ballsbridge but we decided to try something closer to the city center. It is difficult for me to understand some of the extreme reactions, either positive or negative, expressed on this website as I found this small... more

Overall not bad accommodation for the price - 65 euro for a single room (double bed). Great location - 5 min walk to St Stephens Green. Very comfy bed. Noisy from 7am onwards.Check that you have booked ensuite - not all rooms have toilets. The main worry would be that there didn't seem to be a fire exit. Parking is... more

When we arrived by train from Belfast, we expected a tourist information at the train station. There was only someone who offered to let us use the phone. We called Kilronan House on the basis of a recommendation in a travel book. The Australian manager advised us that there was a room available "across the street". Thirty minutes later and... more

We had a quite large party travelling to Dublin and had originally booked for a 3-bedroom apartment. Somehow we got double booked and had to switch. We were given two separate rooms, use of a sitting room, and a kitchen with dining area. A must have with children. Be aware that the house is old so I expect things like... more
