Having read the reviews here, I was a little bit nervouse on arrival. This was totally unnessecery as this was a perfect place for us. Great location, clean rooms, of course a bit worn but look at the pricetag! Bathroom really small but clean and no problems with hotwater. Full Irish Breakfast is included. more

We stayed here for two nights, july 14th and 15th. We were in room 208, a twin. The location of this hotel is brilliant! It is on the North side, just off O'Connell Street. Talbot street is right in line with the Millenium Needle! That's how we remembered it. The hotel can be quite noisy if you go to bed... more

April 27th 2007 I booked the hotel before Christamas for a group of my friends, so I was concerned to read the review posted in March. However, having now stayed at the Celtic Lodge Hotel we found the hotel to be clean and of a good standard and the staff very friendly and helpfull. The location is central to the... more

When we arrived at the Celtic Lodge we were met with scaffolding and plastic sheeting on the front of the building. That was the first disappointment as we had not been told of any refurbishment when we booked it. The reception was dark and dingy, we checked in and were then told about the refurbishments. She gave us a room... more

Great location (if you don't mind a bit of dodgyness), friendly people, OK room, I LOVED the full breakfast. The only reason I won't stay there again, is the noise. I don't mind music from the pub, this is one of the reasons that I came to Ireland. However, my room was located with a window to the back yard.... more

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Dublin. We booked a double room at the Celtic Lodge guesthouse which I found to be reasonably priced in a central location of the city. We booked the room through the guesthouse's own website. This proved to be quick & easy with only a small deposit to pay up front.... more

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderfull extended weekend in Dublin staying at the Celtic Lodge. The hotel is small and you can see it is older but it has a premium location just minutes away from the city centre as well as all means of transport, including the Airport Link coach service. At weekend nights, you can hear the... more
