My son and I stayed in Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport for 1 night leaving early the next morning. The first impression we got was that it was the most busy reception area - both the reception and the bar is placed in the same place. Really a difference from the quiet Aran Islands ;o) Our room was of normal size... more

The staff was less than helpful in almost all areas except shuttle drivers. The full Irish brekfast was a let down. The quality far below the other 4 hotels we stayed at over the ten days. The hallways were dirty, littered with room service trays and cigarette butts for long periods of time. The halls also had a very musty... more

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. We stayed for 2 nights and we had 6 hotel rooms. One i was with my grandparents and they put us on level 1 which has no elevator to access that floor.(let alone a elevator at all) This hotel only has one handicap accessible room,(which was already taken) so they... more

No one... more

We stayed at this hotel the night before our early morning flight to Portugal (really just an excuse to start our holiday early) and i have to say i'm not sure why the reviews are so bad. We booked it because it was so cheap and has the closest proximity to the airport but were still worried because of some... more

I had already booked my stay when I read the reviews here on this hotel. OK, they do not have an elevator. We enjoyed the hotel very much. Clean, airy, nicely furnished, friendly staff (you can hardly hear the planes land/take off). The great thing though is the proximity to the airport. We were stopping in Dublin on our way... more

We stayed at the Clarion in April 2008 - one night on our way home from Prague, since we were traveling on Aer Lingus. The hotel was perfect for us, as it was close to the airport, and we were not sightseeing around Dublin. We met our Irish friends for drinks in the lobby of the Clarion. The location is... more

I'd booked a room at the Clarion, Dublin Airport through lastminute.ie (meaning I'd prepaid) as I was flying out early the next day. Arriving at the hotel, the lobby area looks rather flash, but the rooms are a massive let down. They are small and our one smelt quite badly as if it hadn't had been aired out in quite... more

Stayed here recently before catching an early morning flight out of Dublin. Good location near the airport and courtesy bus operates on time. The hotel lobby is nice however the bedrooms need some updating. The worst part about my stay was the evening meal in the hotel bar. Ordered soup and then the burger. The soup was pretty bland and... more
