Enjoyed a lovely Weekend in The Ardilaun Hotel in Galway. We paid for an upgrade to a better rooms and it was well worth it! It was a special occassion and had mentioned it on booking so they wished my other half Happy B'Day when we checked in!!! How nice!!! Busy hotel but food and service was great...Looking forward to... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night in order to attend a friend's wedding and were extremely diappointed with our stay. On arrival to the hotel at 12.30pm I went to check in but was informed by a quite rude young lady at reception that there were no rooms available and that we would have to... more

After visting this hotel, and straying 3 nights I think people should know that alot of the rooms have not been redone . They still have the pink and blue Laura Ahsley style wallpaper and and fabrics that was in style 20 years ago. No where on the web page does it show this type of room. I was told... more

We have had a number of weekends away at the Ardilaun. What I like about it is that it is child friendly but we dont feel we are at a kids party. Really could say they cater very nicely for the kids without compromising adult service also. Therefore its a delightful location for adults with or without children. Rooms lovely... more

Stayed here for a short business stay. I was in room 412 that had a view of Galway Bay over the tree tops. It has two beds. The bathroom was large, but the shower had very low water pressure. Breakfast was filling. Overall, was pleased with the hotel, but it really shouldn't be called a 4 star hotel. The hotel... more

I stayed here last week as part of a work trade show. I just wanted to say that the staff were very friendly and very helpful. My room was nice, a little bit noisey as I was near the carpark at the back of the hotel but I wasnt disturbed too much. The room had 1 double bed and one... more

The receptionist on check was lovely and the reception area was inviting. The room was nice enough. The staff were friendly enough. I didn't really see the 4 star in it. I went with my daughter for a mid week break and while we enjoyed it you were paying four star prices for what I felt was really 3 star... more

Just back from a business trip which was held at this lovely hotel. There were 12 in our party and not one complaint from anybody (a first!). The rooms were lovely, we all had the newer ones. The lobby and bar area are very relaxing. The gym is average size - quite adequate selection of machines and clean. Staff were... more
