I spent one night in the Valley Suites this weekend. The room was much larger than I expected with the most comfortable bed (which was quite hard to leave in the morning). It was a very clean room. However, the rubber bath mat for the shower was covered in mildew/damp fungus which was a surprise as everything else was spotless.... more

The hotel is lovely, very modern, rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom. Very clean. Staff are very friendly. The only thing that I didnt like was that there is no residents bar, you can have a drink in the reception area but not allowed into the bar. Other than that cant fault it at all. more

From the hotel publicity I expected the Killarney National Park to be easily accessible on foot , but , due largely to miles of wire fencing , it required a 10 km. drive ; lake visible from our room but a case of "look but don't touch" .
