Stayed at the Greenhills for one night as I had to an appointment near the Ennis Rd. early the following morning. It's location was perfect for where I needed to get to and the lady that checked me in could not have been nicer. The rooms could be said to be gettting a little tired but all in all it... more

We stayed here as part of a bus tour. We were quite unhappy with this place. Issues included broken down furniture in the lobby. No public access Internet computer. Cheap flake board room furnishings. Lack of adequate light in the room. (Used 10-15 watt bulb). You were not able to read in your room. No air conditioning. I was quite... more

Refreshing to stay in a hotel in Ireland that is owned and run by Irish people, and we enjoyed the Irish hospitality. Fantastic new bedrooms, excellent leisure centre, food was very good, but most of all this hotel was notably friendly, and the staff made us feel very welcome. would recommend this Hotel to anyone travelling to Limerick. (also very... more

We stayed in the Greenhills hotel in April 2008 (we being my wife, daughter and I). The hotel is in a good location for visiting tourist attractions in Clare e.g. Bunratty. There is a shopping centre within 1km of the hotel with a huge Tesco even closer. That's useful when you have an 18 month old daughter and need to... more

The hotel is quite a way out of town. Once there however the service is good and the rooms comfortable if a bit utilitarian. Dining room and bar lack atmosphere. If thinking of Thomond Park, Hilton Hotel is a better bet. more

We booked this hotel for our first visit to the Republic of Ireland. Journey from Shannon Airport by car was very easy - less than 20 minutes. Found the hotel to be an ideal centre for touring west/southwest Ireland. Very convenient for accessing the main routes and the roads are a joy to drive on with very little traffic on... more

This is a great hotel with extra friendly staff, superb service and lovely food. Before I start I must say that the staff were very friendly and bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and accomodate our needs. We arrived around midday and were told that check in was not until 14.30. This was fine, but we were travelling... more

A week in Limerick was made all the more pleasant by our stay at the Greenhills Hotel. The front desk staff was more than accommodating to our room requirements, and the well appointed room was serviced immaculately. Suprisingly the rooms were freshened most days while we were at breakfast. Service in the restaurant was exceptional and the equal of many... more

Tired decor, bar suffers from cooking smells, uninspiring all round really. OK for a one night stop when on the road, but more suited to business than leisure. Inconvenient location – you need a car if you stay here. more
