We stayed at the Purple Hotel for a weekend break in Derby. Check in was fine - staff not overly enthusiastic though. Room - much bigger than you normally get in UK hotels (without booking suites etc) plenty of room for bags, a small round table and chair and tastefully decorated in a modern 'boutique' smart style. Stayed in room 5. On ground floor. Very pleased with large room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Powers shower with seat. TV (Sky 1) Tea/Coffee, and Hairdrier. Great choice for breakfast. Middle age couple. more
