We stayed here for 4 nights in late May '08. We opted for a "front room" which faced the noisy street----according to our travel agent our options were a quiet "back room" with a small double bed but no air conditioning, or this front facing room (i.e., on the noisy/busy street side) with twin beds (pushed together) and air conditioning.... more

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and would go back again because of it's convienient location and reasonable prices. It is within walking distance (about 200 metres) of printemps and gallerie lafayette and there are a number of good restaurants nearby. There is a metro stop right outside the door of the hotel with a large... more

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of March. We arrived at midday after 24hr + flight from Sydney very tired and cold, but didn't expect to be able to go to our room. My husband nervously introduced us in very bad french to the lovely man on the desk, who in perfect English replied... more

Stayed here for a weekend at the end of March. My views are different to those of other reviewers. About the only decent thing about the hotel is its location, right next to the RER/Metro station. We got a small room with a double bed on the fourth floor. The walls were paper-thin and we could hear almost everything said... more

We arrived at Gare the Saint Lazare at 31 dec 2007 and while I was eating a nice croissant and drinking a hot chocolate, my husband went around looking for a nice place to stay. He decided for Londres and New York Hotel because of the size of the room, the politeness of the staff and the cleaned up and... more

I went to Paris for a week with my parents; we ended up going during the transportation strike (la greve!). At first we were a little concerned but it ended up working out all so beautifully! The hotel is very clean and efficient. The service at the front desk was prompt and courteous - a decent grasp of English but... more

I've just come back from a five night stay at this hotel with my wife and I'll admit that I agree with what other tripadvisor reviews have said. This is an above average three star hotel by european standards and unlike other Parisian rooms, the bedrooms in this hotel were large with a four poster bed and a more than... more

I am 28 and I visited Paris in january this year with my boyfriend and another couple. Before booking, I was warned by my friends that all hotels in Paris have very small rooms and poor facilities but belive me this hotel has an excellent position..the rooms are very big and clean..the service is very good. Do not hesitate to... more

This is the second time we stayed at the Hotel Londres and they have done a total renovation which made it even a better value. Our room was on the 6th floor facing the street and was relatively quiet based on the activity below. The room was small but pretty standard for Paris and had a big bathroom.....which was nice.... more

Excellent location at Place du Havre, minutes by foot from Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Opera. Literally across the street from a very busy metro stop, so easy to go to other places too. Londres New-York is a very utilitarian hotel, a bit like a motel with a terrific location. Rooms are large, which is rare in Paris. They are plainly furnished;... more
