We booked the Hotel du Parc after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Following the advice of previous guests we requested a quieter terrace room and the hotel obliged. Our room was on the ground floor with its own terrace which was very convenient for the car park etc. It did mean that we only ventured into the main... more

We made sure to get a terrace facing room, and could see that some people would find the hotel charming. Certainly the staff were as pleasant as could be. However, our taste is for standard purpose-built hotel rooms, with soundproofing and solid looking furniture. If you like uniqueness and the very handy location, then this hotel deserves its high rating--although... more

We have just spent 2 nights at this hotel as part of a week's holiday in the south of France. It was ideal from several points of view. Comfortable room, with air conditioning, and good breakfast outside on their little terrasse. More importantly it is ideally situated if you are travelling by car as we were. It has its own... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in Hotel du Parc for three nights in July this year. The hotel is in a great location, 3 minute walk from a tram stop. By tram it is 6 or 7 mins into the town centre. The hotel emailed us excellent directions. The staff are very friendly. After reading earlier reviews about noisy roads,... more

A great place to stay ! Good value room rate, very friendly staff, and one of the few places in Europe to offer FREE, high speed Internet access. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. A little difficult to find, as it is in a back street, but nice and close to the town centre - 10 minute walk. Thanks... more

We enjoyed a one-night stay at Hotel du Parc in May 2007. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room, bathroom and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel can definetely be recommended. more

We booked Hotel du Parc on the strength of the tripadvisor.com reviews. WRONG. What we thought was a quiet little hotel in a residential 'hood turned out to be a jetway for every motorscooter and lorry in Montpellier. DO NOT STAY IN ROOM #4, EVER! REPEAT EVER! Perhaps the other rooms are quieter, but this room is like staying on... more

Hotel du Parc was just what I needed to relive my prior experiences of Montpellier, with its charm and real French style (something that was missing from my previous accomodation in the Antigone ). It is not far from the historic part of town and is in a quartier I enjoy walking through to get that "local vibe". It was... more

I was in Montpellier for a conference and a little business afterwards and selected Hotel du Parc on the basis of convenient location to both venues and the fact that I have developed a strong dislike to the impersonal and unvarying nature of chain hotels. It is not in the middle of the historic district but if you don'f fancy... more

My husband and I stayed here for only one night while traveling from Nice to Barcelona and we absolutely loved it! We wished we had stayed longer. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were simply adorable. While they had an old world charm, they also had modern touches like a flat screen tv and a... more
