We stayed for four nights in La Petit Folie. We slept in two different rooms and honestly, I am currious for the other tree, they both were amazing and lovely. Breakfast in the garden was delicious, with self made jam en pure apple juice. The service was more than good. I hope that this little secret will not be discoverd... more
On a recent family vacation to Paris for a wedding with my two college age daughters, we were looking to escape Paris for a couple of nights and simply unwind. We could not have asked for a more beautiful spot than Honfleur and this stylish B&B. Although a bit difficult to find upon driving in from Deauville, (no street signs!),... more
My boyfriend and I received a 2 night at La Petite Folie as a graduation gift. As soon as we arrived we fell in love with the place. Penny and Theirry, the owners, are wonderful and gracious hosts. Our room, Chez Rene, was so cozy and had such a lovely garden view. The bed was so comfortable we had trouble... more
My husband and I had a wonderful couple of days at La Petite Folie after a debacle of a car rental experience getting there. Penny greeted us warmly and immediately helped us to relax. Our room (the Blue Room) was just what we hoped for - charming, pretty, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The bed was great and I must say,... more
I can honestly say that having travelled fairly extensively worldwide and frequently in France we have never been treated worse than at this establishment run by an American. In May this year my husband and I directly pre-booked 3 night's accomodation for ourselves and my octogenarian father, a veteran of WW2. We chose to base ourselves in the pretty port... more
It should be noted that this person did not stay at La Petite Folie. I asked the author of this review to leave my house after she referred to me as ‘vile, ugly’, and the ‘reason my husband was on the other side of the garden’ but not before apologizing giving her husband a guide to Honfleur hotels and my...

We arrived in Honfleur on 27th June 2008 and stayed at La Petite Folie for 3 nights. It is often difficult to make bookings on-line without personal recommendation. We have been disappointed at times when our chosen hotel didn't live up to expectation, as was the case on our recent trip to Bruges. Not so this time! Penny and Thierry... more
Our family of 8 stayed at La Petite Folie for 2 nights in April and enjoyed every minute of the time spent with our host. Penny took care of us from the minute that we arrived until she walked us to our car to say goodbye. Our rooms were lovely, comfortable and the house was immaculate. Penny & Thierry have... more
We have just returned from three fantastic weeks of travel around northern France and Paris. One of the definite highlights of our vacation was our visit to the picturesque town of Honfleur, especially our stay at La Petite Folie. The Vincents are very anxious to accommodate their guests in the beautifully appointed bed and breadfast. They were very helpful with... more
