A pleasant, cheap stay in Aix is definitely the Concorde. The location is a definite plus, only a few hundred yards from the main town centre and carparking included (for a small additional fee) if requested. Arrived in Aix by car without a reservation and went straight to Office de Tourisme where they offerred a reservations service (not all do).
