I took a nap in the afternoon and did not lock the front door. It was not very easy to lock it. Someone came in and stole my cash and travellers checks. Overall the room was all right, not terrific. Good value even with the rising Euro, not many hotels in Cannes could claim that accolade anymore! Very polite english speaking staff with a lovely relaxed but attentive French style. Staying at the Provence was a refreshingly tranquil and trouble free experience. The staff were warm, friendly and as attentive as they needed to be. Very clean and well maintained hotel just next to the Hilton Hotel and 2 minutes walk to the Croisette.
