We were very disappointed when we arrived at Hotel Renoir, expecting better based on tripadvisor reviews. The woman at the front desk seemed disinterested and the hotel manager wasn't much better. The day we stayed there, we didn't see one other guest, which seems to be the reason they will upgrade easily. The hotel was remodeled, but not well. It... more

We were looking forward to our stay in Cannes, but we were very disappointed on arrival at Hotel Renoir. There were various steps to climb to get to hotel, which was not fun with a pram and suite cases. The lift held only 3 people and wobbled on it's way to the fourth floor. It holds one pram with difficulty with one person holding... more

I agree with the previous comment that the "Sea View" suite is really kind of a misnomer. We did pay the extra 20 Euros and while it wasn't bad, it probably wasn't worth it. Plus, that puts you on the very noisy side of the hotel. You'll be overlooking a busy multiple lane street and it can get pretty noisy... more

Had 5 great nights at the Renoir. It was a relaxing stay in a massive suite, with a comfy Kingsize Bed, large sitting area, ensuite and separate toilet. The staff were very helpful and the price was good. I think the hotel is perfectly located, just a short stroll from the train station, the beach and shopping and places to... more

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and overall, were quite satisfied with it. I would describe the hotel as somewhat quirky - high aspirations, most of which are met, but there are some factors to the hotel that just don't seem to fit. For example, the reception area doubles as the dining area and is quite small. The... more

We stayed at Renoir Hotel for 2 nights. There were some pros and cons - first, the room itself was awesome. It was large, modernized, comfortable. However, there are no good views - all views are obstructed by a large apt building across the street. The biggest issue is the noise from the street at night - the hotel is... more

We booked this hotel because it got such good reviews on this site. We got one of the big rooms on the top floor. It was huge for French standards, and very well decorated. The bathroom was also quite big with a nice shower and bath tub. The toilet, however, was a complete architectural mishap. Small people will find no... more

We booked this hotel based on favorable TA reviews and were not disappointed. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and speak flawless English. Our room was luxurious and spacious, including a separate office where we set up our laptop and used the wifi. The only knock on the hotel is that the wifi is expensive—10 euros for an hour... more

Just returned from 5 blissful and restful days at the Renoir, which was a truly wonderful experience. It is easy to find with the hotel being behind the Poice National on just off the Bvlrd Carnot. Excellent staff esp the guy who works days and Jacques who works evenings. Great style, simple and clean with a glamourous feel - gold... more

My wife and I have stayed in many hotels on the Cote d'Azur, but can't remember a better one than the Renoir. Good quality rooms, spacious and practical bathrooms. Quiet and very conveniently located. Only 5 minutes walk from La Croisette. Best of all the warm and efficient staff, led by Gerard. Be sure to ask him for restaurant recommendations.... more
