This hotel only opened on 1 August 2008 and the area around it is very much in a state of redevelopment. Plenty of positives, though. All double rooms (possibly all rooms but not certain) have kingsized beds which is a real bonus in an Ibis. Security is good with room keycard operated lifts and well situated reception desk. After reading so much about how dangerous Marseille is, I was really pleased to find that the Ibis was situated in the center of the Euromediteranee Commercial District. It was absolutely safe at night and the Tram runs literally from the doorstep of the hotel into central marseille. Really useful if you want to avoid using the Metro at night... more
