The hotel looks modern, it is part of the cite' internationale complex, with congress centre, residence, cinema, bar, restaurants etc. On the rear there is a beautyful park. The museum of modern and contemporary art is just a 2min walk away, in the same complex, just behind the cinema. There is a private underground parking with direct lift access to... more

We turned up with a boat on the roof of the car - great help from the doorman who helped unload and store the boat in the parking lot. Excellent rooms - try to get a room overlooking the Rhone (a bit noisier but nice view). The brasserie, considering it is a hotel restaurant, is perfectly adequate. Overall, staff attitude... more

We stayed only one night when traveling through town, but we will definitely return. Wonderful service, a real pampering by the staff, especially the concierge services. The rooms were large and modern, very nice bed. A great breakfast buffet, right on the "Tete d'Or" park for a beautiful afternoon/evening walk. Easy to find, drive in and out. more

This stylish hotel is located in a modern and quiet neighborhood somewhat out of downtown Lyon. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are large and come with a good bed, large desk and a flat-screen TV. What irritates me a lot (and I usually don't watch TV at all in hotels) is when the TV takes 3-4 seconds to... more

Worth the experience! Car taken away and delivered back the following morning. Splendid accommodation and excellent location within the Cite Internationale. Dinner in the Hilton Brasserie only actenuated the overall experience - top class service and food. Will definitely visit again. more

Yes, it's a chain and a bit old, which you can see it in the design, but my stay was overall, very good. The location is quite close to the train station. We had to take a cab though because of our luggage. The rooms are big, as are the bathrooms! We had a balcony overlooking the river, which was... more

Positive: Very good location (a bit far from downtown but with good bus connection), Excellent service, friendly personnel, Nice and big rooms (some with view to the lake), very quiet, huge bathroom. Quality of breakfast food: excellent! Negative: No free internet connection, fee is overprized (starts with 10 euros/hr), no swimming pool (only jacuzzi and hamam for the owners of... more

Presumably you are looking to stay at this hotel if you are there on a business conference or if you are using it as a stop over. A drive from Calais to the South of France is a tad too far with kids in the back, so we decided to stop at Lyon en route and this was one of... more

When arriving in Lyon, go to the Satobus terminal. Pay E9.50 for a one way Satobus ticket that includes a single ticket for the local transit system. Get off the bus at Gar Part Dieu. Walk along the same sidewalk a hundred feet or so for the tram stop for the C1 tram (modern looking hinged bus) heading for "Cite... more
