I booked this hotel in February since I knew accommodation for Oktoberfest would be hard to find/expensive. I got a really good deal on Priceline--$360 for 2 nights and to my surprise we ended up with a huge suite! The bed was king-size, and we had a separate living area and huge bathroom--bigger than my flat in London! The hotel... more

This is the second time myself and 11 of my Scottish Kilt wearing friends have stayed at this hotel for Oktoberfest! The staff are so friendly and remembered us from last year (probably due to the fact we almost drank them out of beer!). The "U bahn" is 50 metres away and very efficient. The only downside is the buffet... more

This is a really nice hotel although a little too far out of town. Parking was also a little expensive. There was airco but it was not very effective so room was quite humid. It was a little disturbing that the hotel seemed to be overrun with Muslim families who seemed to have no respect for anyone else. This is... more

We just returned from a six day stay at this hotel. I called Marriott 800# to book our stay. I confirmed on three separate occasions that the hotel had air conditioning. I did this because of the reviews. Guess what? No air conditioning. Consequently, I think we paid too much for the room. If air is not on your list... more

I've stayed at this hotel twice, in May 2000 and July 2008. My experience was similar both times. The executive rooms, which I had both times, are probably the best value in Europe. They are 64 square meters and are priced at 204 Euros on weekdays and 125 Euros on weekends. This is an unbelievable value for Europe. For American... more

A good hotel offering reasonable value for money. The positives were the spa area, the food (excellent) and cleanliness. On the downside the staff weren't overly friendly, therooms were quite small and cramped and there was very little atmosphere in the public areas, the bar especially. A little bit out of the way as well requiring a 10 minute taxi... more

Not a bad hotel. The room was relatively comfortable. Nice sized bed. Decent sized bathroom. U-Bahn station was right down the street - close enough to carry your luggage if you're not above that kind of thing. Two down sides: According to the front desk, the air condition just circulates the air; it doesn't cool. We were lucky that it... more

After reading reviews on TripAdvisor and other sources I was not sure of what to expect since it seemed that reviews were all over the map. I'm happy to say that we were delighted with the hotel in nearly all respects. We had three rooms (booked with Priceline's bidding option) and all of us were very satisfied. It is true... more

We've stayed at the Renaissance quite a few times during the past years and have always enjoyed staying there, particularly because of its wide spacious rooms, its location and its friendly attentive staff. We usually don't like to complain, but this time we just had to, because our last 2 stays were simply a disaster: We had requested, as always,... more

On my last trip I spend weekend in Munich. Renaissance hotel had nice romantic package so I try it. Package was room + breakfast + champagne Hotel is near the exit of highway A9, but is not easy to find it for the first time. First view from end of the A9 highway is on Munich Marriott hotel, so we... more
