My heart sank at the entrance: the hotel is sandwiched between a McDonalds and a Burger King and it looks as if all the rooms overlook the noisy street (especially saturday night), but wait.... once inside there are pleasant quiet rooms at the back and an excellent breakfast. Perfect location, 1/2 block from center of city (Rathaus) and the market. Very friendly staff, all spoke English. Breakfast was very good with wide selection of food. Room was not large but well kept. No A/C but we didn't need it. more

Hotel location is excellent. During World Cup we were in the middle of everything. We spent two nights there and walked the entire time. Hotel did not have A/C, and it was brutal -- not much sleep! Accommodations were average. more
