The hotel is clean and basic. There is a great selection for breakfast. The pub Einstein beside the hotel is very good and staff very friendly. Check out the cocktails! My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend, arrived on a Friday night quite late in hamburg, and its about a 10 min walk from the underground station. Just jump on the yellow U3 line from the central station, and its about 10 mins on tube! The staff are young and friendly, and all speak good english, and the room... more

The Panorama Inn in BIllstedt was OK, but that's as far as I'll go. The price was nice for Hamburg, but you are a couple of U-Bahn stations outside of town. You also have a decent walk from the station to the hotel, so it is not that convenient. At check in, they inform you that you pay in full... more

Excellent value for the money - £34 per night for 2 people. If travelling by car, very easy to find when coming off the A1 Autobahn. First turning of the B5. Spend three days here, midweek. Slightly "out of town" but this may be an advantage. Long breakfast time 0530 - 1030 !, fresh roles, cold meats, cerials, tea/coffee/juice. Underground parking. Lovely 3*hotel. Very clean rooms, friendly staff and close to good shopping complex. 10 mins walk to Underground - frequent trains to city sight (10 - 20 minutes away).
