You arrive into a large but souless reception where check in is efficiently handled but I did not feel a great sense of welcoming. Oh, the hotel is one of these new modern, cool chic types. You know the ones? The cool jazz piped into the chic lounge bar, the stylish bar on the top floor with incredible vistas over Hamburg, the rooms with the views.
