Good value hotel with clean rooms and convenient location. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had our dinner in the hotel restaurant - the service was inadequate even though there were only three tables at that time. I booked the Steigenberger Maxx on the strength of a satisfying stay at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel last September when I was bumped off a Lufthansa flight from Lisbon. The Airport Hotel had probably the best and most extensive breakfast buffet I'd ever seen. Modern business style hotel close to town center, easy walking distance. Rooms are nice, clean, but pretty ordinary business type. They let us check in at 8 a.m. when our flight arrived really early. The Steigenberger Maxx hotel is wonderful. The single rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to both business and pleasure travellers. The only bad point is that you have to walk 10-15 mins to the nearest U-bahn (unless you are patient enough to get a connecting S-bahn). more
