Stayed for one night in September 2008. Room was modern, spacoius and clean, Excellent bathroom facilities. Had no problems with front desk - however one of our group spoke Spanish which may have helped. Convenient location for a pleasant stroll to the town centre. We booked a tour of the Alhambra - picked up and dropped off at the hotel. The... more

Stayed at the saray for 2 nights whilst on holiday for 3 wks in andalucia. Slightly apprehensive due to some less than positive reviews. Was very happy with the service, standards and location of the hotel, although if you are visiting granada just to see the alhambra you may be better staying nearer to it. -We got a taxi early... more

Our room was far better than anticipated and cost just £55 per night without breakfast. It was modern and clean and well appointed. Good air con. The hotel is really only ten minutes walk to the centre of town and far better than staying in the noisy town centre. It is also very near to the buses, so handy for... more

Staying there for few days with family (including a small baby, aged 2 years) As usual wth these super stars hotels it was quite anonymous, but it was great to stay there with all facilities and in a big and extremely clean room. Staff at arrival was quite impolite, whereas in other occasions they were great, very friendly and helpfull....quite... more

Modern hotel situated in a residential area off the main tourist area. If you are taking the airport bus, get off at the last stop (Palace Congresso or something like that), and hotel is just 2 min walk up the street. It is a 10 min walk to the edge of the main tourist area, 20 min walk to the... more

This hotel is undoubtedly very clean and well apointed however sadly the surly and unhelpful attituide of it's reception staff let it down. Although not right in the centre of town it is only two minutes from the edge of the central area at San Anton and there are a number of buses that stop very near by - the... more

Many reviews of this hotel said the same thing. The rooms are too hot !!!!!!!!! Can't sleep comfortably. The temperature is centrally controlled. (As in most hotels in Spain etc.). The control unit in your room lets you set your own desired temperature, but its just for show!! This hotel in particular, no matter what we did, the a/c kept... more

No, there is no casino in the hotel, but the Moorish style decoration we saw everywhere in the public areas and in the courtyard reminded us of some of the themed resorts in Las Vegas. You will find coffered ceilings, marble fountains and arabesque stucco works, all of them inspired by the famous Nashrid palaces. You can even sit down... more

GOOD: Hotel Saray is next to the Palacio de Congresos. It’s a smart hotel, the public areas are traditionally decorated with fountains and Moorish patterns. The reception staff are helpful and polite. The rooms look like they have been newly refurbished with laminated wood floors, flatscreen TVs, dark wood furniture and new bathrooms (with a decent shower and a bathtub).... more

GOOD: Smart spotless rooms (if a little small) with widescreen TV. The barman is very friendly and pours the most excellent measures. A bit out of town but a 15 minute walk brings you to the centre and there are a selection of basic restaurants in the immediate area. The Alhambra is 30 mins walk. NOT GOOD: THE AIRCON DOESN'T... more
