The Dona Maria was right in the center of all of the "old town" activities, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. It is next to the Cathedral, the Alcazar, and the old city. First, I agree with other reviewers that the location could not be bettered - though driving there is definately a challenge! You should also ignore the hotels advice that they have parking available as on arriving we found that our medium size car was too large for the tiny underground car park and had to follow a very tight route... more
