“Good 'relatively cheap' hotel for Santander”

I can reccomend this hotel. It offers a cheaper alternative to the very pricey hotels located in El Sardinero. It is located about 7km from El Sardinero but there is a very good bus service (the No. 2), the stop for which is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are adequate, clean and comfortable. Stayed for three nights in what was described as a superior room. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was like staying in an Attic room with the sloping roof line (not suitable for people over 1.5 metres tall) and only a Velux window for natural light..
