My husband and I had the misfortune to stay at this hotel last September. We had requested a quiet room - the hotel staff didnt bother to tell us that there was a huge music festival on in the town while we were staying - music and noise from the streets every night till about 5am!!! We complained and were... more

At a stunning location at the junction of the old and new towns, overlooking the Med, the hotel is a modern blot on the landscape in an otherwise fascinating town. This is a soulless commercial hotel furnished in 1970s style with a casino attached. Rooms just about adequate but carpet trampled and fraying and bath worn. Furniture Coop style, desperately... more

This was a great hotel overall, from location to accomodation. We arrived during a festival so the town was crowded and loud, but we still loved it! We did find the front desk staff to initally be rude, when I requested a sea view, which I had also done when I made the reservation, the guy laughed at me and... more

We stayed for a week at this hotel and as I'd been to Tarragona previously we mainly choose the hotel for the location. The location is about the only good thing about this hotel as everything else, from the 1970's decor within the rooms to the appallingly rude staff, let the hotel down. If you get a room at the... more

April 2007, My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Husa Imperial Taracco for 4 days in late April. Though the weather was unusually cool for Spain this time of year, the hotel was very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The complimentary breakfast included not only cafe and juice, but a vast array of petite pastries, eggs,... more

Me and my wife stayed there for 5 nights (scientific conference) and loved it. It's not 100% perfect but it's pretty good and comfortable. Staff is very professional and some of them speaks a little English. We got very spacious and clean room with huge bathroom - there was not bath, only shower but it was a big and a... more

We returned to the Imperial Tarraco for a long weekend and, once again, had a very pleasant stay. The location is ideal for exploring the old city, visiting the Roman ruins and strolling the Rambla. Our room was spacious, with twin beds - as is customary in many hotels in Spain - and the view, overlooking the Mediterranean and the... more

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary. I thought it was great value for money -we paid about £50 a night. It had a buffet type dinner on the Saturday which was very good value and quite ok food. There was a lovely spa & swimming pool and if you had the foresight to book some good and well priced treatments-you... more

I booked a room in this hotel through TOTALSTAY and got a very good rate but probably not the best of the available rooms .... PROS: - Excellent location, just next to the Roman ruins, very nice view, - Good restaurant, choice fairly limited but well prepared, tasty and service efficient - Very nice comfortable bar, serving drinks the proper... more

This was a disappointing hotel for its rating. The staff was indifferent. We had expected a double bed only to find out that according to the front desk, more than 80 percent of the hotel are twin beds only. Rooms are relatively old. Virtually no parking. Next to a casino. The only positive was its location in the city which... more
