“Good location but in need of refurbishment”

The hotel is well situated, just off Serrano, but is definitely looking old and tired nowadays. The soft furnishings were shabby and threadbare in places, the paintwork in our room was chipped and dirty (and coming off the ceiling in a couple of places) and there was a tile missing in the bathroom. We got a great deal on Hotels for this hotel - 75 Euros. It's a 3.5 to a 4 star hotel. It's elegant, clean and provides great service. The area is safe. The staff are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are large, great furniture, classy and clean. The subway "Ruben Dario" is about 5 minutes away. The buses... more
