We stayed at this hotel for two nights and our stay was very pleasant. It's in a brilliant location for easy access to the central train station and so to the whole of Italy! The staff were courteous and polite. Our room was upgraded free of charge on arrival. I'm quite surprised by the negative comments in some reviews, considering... more

Our passports were taken for safe keeping but I saw them left on view in the pigeon hole in the unmanned reception. I asked to move from our tatty room but told that the better rooms were singles only & all doubles were like ours. Went out just before dark & had to take a long detour past groups of... more

I stayed for one night at the hotel, on business. I had read some bad comments regarding the location after I got the room, so I was a bit worried before arriving there. But my fears were not right: I thought it was very convenient and not dangerous at all. We walked to a restaurant not too far, on Via... more

I doesn't take heed to the bad review and had a frightening experience. Though the hotel is ok but the surrounding is dangerous. Our car was broken into which was parked outside the hotel. Wow can you imagine that?? more

Having read a very bad review I went to this Hotel with trepidation, it was excellent, and worth every penny spent. The staff couldn't do enough for me and my company, and catered to all our requests. They provided a lovely reception for our arrival as our trip was a bit of a celebration and treated us extremly well. The rooms... more

We stayed at Madison Hotel in October 2007. We had booked a twin room for a very good price (75 euros/night) through the Internet and not directly through the hotel. For the money we paid we were very satisfied. Clean room (but not modern), good beds, good bathroom (although the shower surface was a little bit damaged), good (but not... more

Stayed here for one night while in transit to Venice. Hotel is about 10 mins walk from the Malpensa Shuttle Bus drop off point. The Hotel and room was clean and well appointed. As with other Hotels in the vacinity of the railway station there is a limited number of places to eat, however there is a good restaurant at... more

I didn't like two things about this hotel: --it's located on the west side of the Central Station, however, a little scary, it's obviously not a safe area, although it's so close to the station. There were always several groups of black males standing and chatting just along the roads to the hotel, and a little further from the hotel,... more

Hi there, After exhaustingly searching for a good value-for-money budget hotel in milan, we finally chose hotel madison. Generally the hotel had some pretty good reviews on trip advisor and that played a key role. When we arrived, sure enough the hotel is pretty close to the central station. About 5 mins walk. It's next to a church which is... more

Booked the Madison for its price and location. We arrived late at night by bus from Bergamo Airport to Central Station for a 3 night stay and with directions from another review the hotel was reasonably easy to find, less than 5mins walk. We had room 108 and had a nice view of the church and not the tatty street... more
