I have just returned from a business trip to Milan staying at the Capitol World Class hotel. It's in a very convenient location -only 5 minutes by taxi from the train station where the Malpensa airport express arrives and departs from. The staff at the hotel were all extremely pleasant, friendly & helpful, right from opening the taxi door on... more

worst experience ever. i reserved a room and they overbooked. so when i arrived they told me "a pipe was broken" and they booked me to another hotel - far off - where i had to go (which is disturbing enough after a long day of travel + work). they even made me pay the price difference! i tried to... more

I booked this hotel as I (and the rest of Europe) was in Milan for an exhibition and choice was a little scarce. I booked the single room ( for somewhere in the region of EUR240per night) and whilst everything was clean and tidy, the room was very, very compact, in fact it was the smallest room I`ve ever stayed... more

Strange things have been happening at the Capitol since I last stayed there, which is why it gets 4/5 not the full Monty. This is the fourth time I've stayed here - high praise in my book bearing in mind the general standard of 3 and 4 star hotels in Milano. The first 3 visits were exemplary; quiet, spotlessly clean... more

For the price, you might as well save some money, and stay at a tourist hotel. From the time we checked in there were issues. We arrived via train from Venice, and made it to the hotel an hour after check in time. We got everything up to the room, only to find out our room wasn't ready. When the... more

Stayed at this hotel in Milan for just one night in late July and despite the fact that it was almost 100 degrees outside, the room was very comfortable and cool. On arrival, you are given a packet with a tour book about Milan (extremely helpful) and a number of maps. The staff at the front desk could not be... more

Arrived in this hotel at 9.30 and could check in our room (thank you very much). Because off the different reviews always exciting what to expect. The room was very nice and clean we had a jacuzzi in a lovely badroom!!! Also the people at the reception and at the very nice buffet in the morning with fresh juice and... more

Booked this hotel after seeing the good reviews. Were a little concerned about the unfavourable reviews which were posted after we had booked it. Needn't have been though... I think they were more than a little unfair. Location was not that bad at all. At the end of the day, you are not going to get a 5* hotel overlooking... more

Stayed recently for a shopping weekend with some friends. The hotel has a small classical stylish lobby but very welcoming. The man at the check-in was not so talkative but very polite. When we came back to him asking some recommendations he was very helpful. Room was very clean and the bathroom terrific with a real jacuzzi. Very comfortable beds... more

The room itself was not bad, comfortable bed, adequately sized bathroom. I can't quite put my finger on why I disliked this hotel...small, dingy, cramped hallways, absence of noticeable staff, strange location. It did not feel like a hotel but more like a boarding house to us. This was our first and only stay in Milan, so in fairness nothing... more
