I stayed in this hotel for two days with my husband and two kids. The neighbourhood was not the best possible (in the nearest supermarket they warned us that we should not walk on that street with a camera hanging around our neck). Anyway, it was easy to get to the city centre with a tram as well as to... more

Booked this hotel for my 21st birthday with five other of my friends and had an absolutely fantastic stay. We had three twin rooms which were all located right next to each other on an otherwise quiet floor. Check-in was easy enough. Although they wanted to keep our passports, which none of us were too happy about. I'm not sure... more

When reading previous reviews of this hotel I must admit we was a bit weary as to what we getting ourselves into! We arrived and found the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were shown to our room which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typically continental with a wide selection of cereals, cold... more

Although the hotel was quite nicely decorated and the soundproofing from road noise was good , we did have some areas of concern 1) We understood that it was 100 metres from the metro station , but we thought it was much further than that , more like 500 - 800 metres 2) We arrived at night and the road... more

I stayed here on business last year, my company couldn't get our usual hotel as there was a convention going on. I have to say this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in, I had intended to complain to Best Western but never got round to it, which is a shame as I think this hotel does... more

Firstly, this hotel is certainly not a 4 star hotel and doesnt come close. The room is was very small (but you're in Europe, so this is not really a warranted criticism) and facilities were pretty basic. The other problem with this hotel is that it is a fair distance out of Milan. The nearest underground station is a good... more

Staff was friendly, helpful and could speak English well. I read some review that the location of the hotel was bit outskirt. Personally it was not bad tho. Just took Metro No1 (Red color) then get off at LOTTO. After that you had to take bus/tram no 93/92 to Viale Murillo (2-3stops only which took about 5-8 mins from Lotto... more

I stayed at the Best Western Astoria two nights during a business trip and was quite dissapointed with it. First and foremost, I was given the impression from the Internet site that there would be free Wireless Internet, but it turned out to be a payable service, provided by Swisscom. The room was so small that I could not use... more

I was booked in here by default as my usual hotel was full. The first night was not particularly inspiring - I was given a room on the first floor, right opposite the lift and stairs and directly above the bar/reception area. The breakfast was a bit off-putting, being offered up in a windowless dungeon boasting the kind of lighting... more

The directions to the hotel from the hotel website were wrong. They told us the hotel had no website. It does, a quick search will confirm that. The website said Car parking was included but we had to pay extra. We tried explaining this, but the staff pretend not to understand English when you have something to say. Room was... more
