My husband and I recently spent two nights at Al Campaniel. It is easy to find and in a great location, near the San Toma vaporetto stop. This is a nice place. We arrived early morning after a over night flight from the States and Marco showed us to our room promptly. It was nice to be able to get a few hours rest before going out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Al Campaniel !! The location is excellent just moments away from the San Toma vaporetto stop. The room was on the top floor adjacent to the breakfast room and was perfect for our needs. Everything was sparkling clean and we had plenty of storage space. We had a great stay at the Al Campaniel in late June, 2007. The location was fabulous-literally around the corner from the San Toma vaporetto stop. It was far enough away from the crowds of San Marco and the Rialto—but not a super-long walk. (20-30 minutes, depending on if you got lost!) The owner, Marco, was very kind and helpful.... more

Across from an awesome little chocolate shop, just a few short steps to the San Toma’ Vaporetto stop and a 10 minute walk to the train station, this little B&B has a great location, wonderful personal service, and a good breakfast, all for a very reasonable price.
