The service at the hotel was less than the other hotels we stayed at in Italy (even though they were not five starts). That may be just because the hotel is so large. The staff is very pleasant, always had a smile. I found the executive lounge to be well-stocked when we were there at Christmas Eve through Dec. 27th, 2007. Just returned from Venice where we stayed at the Hilton Molino Stucky on Guidecca Island. Arrived late and had to pay for an expensive water taxi (60 euro) from San Marco to the hotel If you arrive late you can get the private Hilton Water taxi from San Marco (furthest stop) until 2am which we didn't know.
