If you are looking for a basic, clean place to stay in Florence that doesn't cost a lot then Franco's place is for you. It is very close to the Duomo, in the heart of Florence....within easy walking distance to all of Florence. Hotel was in excellent location..behind Duomo. Marco is super friendly. And they give such a personal touch with everything. They were there to order our cab and really accomodate to us personally. The charming B&B Novecento is ideally located, only a block from the Duomo. It's on the 4th floor of a renovated 160-year-old building. B & B Novecentro is in a great location, we walked over from the train station, and Franco greeted us and carried our bags up the stairs, sowed us around, gave us an overview of things to do and see and made appointments for us at the Acadamia and Uffuzi.
