We chose Antica Dimora Firenze based on the Tripadvisor reviews and can confirm that it is a wonderful property! We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood around Via San Gallo where this B&B is located. The bedroom was beautifully furnished, the bed very comfortable. A few toiletries in the bathroom were a great touch considering some... more

My husband and I enjoyed Antica Dimore Firenze tremendously. The rooms are clean and nicely proportioned, with beautiful furnishings and small but more than adequate enuite bathroom. Comfortable beds and a quiet location allowed us a great sleep. Breakfast was more than adequate – with a choice of juices and pastries as well as fruit and cereal. Coffee and tea... more

Antica Dimora Firenze was a cute and homey hotel with a very competent staff. Amanda and Elisa were very welcoming and helpful. In fact, I think they are the best part of staying at this hotel. At my request, they obtained reservations to the Accademia and the Uffizi, without the usual markup as on the websites! They made dinner reservations... more

We were blown away by the quality of the rooms and the service at Antica Dimora. We had had disappointing experiences at other 'boutique' hotels in other Italian cities and so were bracing ourselves for more of the same. Luckily, our fears were unfounded. The room was large and the bed so comfortable. There was also an armchair and 2... more

We arrived in Florence late and our room was given away. We could not call because we were traveling. Our disappointment turned to joy when they gave us the Market apartment to stay for the 2 days we were in Florence. We missed out on the breakfasts and other services by being off-site, but the apartment was lovely. To wake... more

This was a charming hotel. I stayed in Room #1 which was away from the street. The door is right next to the Reception Desk but I did not experience any disturbance, noise, or inconvenience. I liked the hallway back to the bedroom area because it was so peaceful. There is a door to a sitting area outside (cozy--it has... more

Five nights in heaven. If Florence is the best open museum in Italy, then the Antica Dimora is the best "Dimora" (a place to stay) in town. The accommodation, the surrounding, the view from the window (especially the yellow leaves of March) and the package deal, including Amanda's advises, smiles and concerning for your comfort (Don't forget to ask for... more

A gem of a place to stay in Florence. Well furnished bedrooms, excellent bathrooms & a good buffet breakfast. All the staff are friendly and recommend good restaurants. There is a lovely cosey feel to the main living/breakfast room, where you can help yourself to tea or coffee & biscotti. There are lots of maps, leaflets & information at Reception.... more

My husband & I stayed for 3 nights in mid-March. With one email request from me, Amanda made 2 museums reservations and 3 dinner reservations. The entire staff is very organized & helpfuf about local information. When my husband became ill on the second day, Amanda helped to get him medicines, changed our car rental, and made other arrangements to... more
