There has been some time since we have stayed in the hotel but I want to share my positive opinion of it. Greatest impressiom made me the hotel by itself - the interior design. It is worth of visiting only to see it! The breakfast room is amazing. It seemed like being in an old castle - the high ceiling,... more

This B&B is a on the second floor of a building only 1 block from the main train station. Very convenient. Even though it is on an extremely busy street, the windows had excellent sound insulation so sleeping is easy. Marco, the owner did a great job of orienting us with a map and giving us restuarant and GELATO recommendations.... more

We booked this B & B for my husband, myself and our young adult daughter because it was close to the train station and we couldn't have asked for any more, easy to find and very central to everything. The hotel itself and our room were lovely and Marco the perfect host. His advice of where to eat and what... more

Stayed for 2 nights. Cannot praise it enough. It is a little bit away from the centre but still only a 15-20 minute walk from the Ufizzi and well worth the "inconvenience". Earlier reviewers mentioned it was difficult to find - we received an email from Marco about a week before we were due showing exactly where it is &... more

We have only positive things to say about this B & B. Marco, the owner has dedicated two years to restoring his establishment and it shows. It has all the elements we look for in a vacation place such as, clean rooms (top of our list)), comfortable King bed (really large for Italy), great water pressure in the shower and... more

I found this B&B on Bookings.com and selected it due to the high rating by other travelers. It was hard to find at first but worth the effort. Marco is a gracious and kind host who as a native Florentine knows where everything is and was always ready to help with whatever I needed. The hotel was super CLEAN (a... more

It was a very good place with a convenient location (5 minutes walk from the M.N. train station). Room was very accurate and clean (IX century style) with good and test breakfast. But more surprising than anything else was Marco (the host). He helped us to plan our stay in Florence for 3 days: where to eat, where to walk... more

The hotel is simply one of the most comfortable and best I've ever stayed in as far as Italy goes, and taking into account the quality/price relationship. To start with the hotel is located very close to the city centre and all the main attractions (a 10 minutes' walk from the Piazza del Duomo). Though it hasn't got a lift... more

Great place to stay, near transportation, downtown and main attractions, all within walking distance. Rooms are fantastically clean and well-maintained with very comfortable beds and newly finished bathrooms. Room rates are very reasonable, especially with the Euro-to-Dollar exchange. It is privately owned (by Marco) and he takes great pride in providing personal services to his guests. This is "THE PLACE"... more
