Really enjoyed our stay at the Villa San Paolo. It is a short drive (10 mins) from San Gimignano and has great views over the town. We felt so at home. It feels like Scottsdale, Arizona, very southwestern. And the spa. The heated pool was wonderful. The massages left a lot to be desired, in fact horrible. Lovely hotel set in beautiful Tuscan countryside about 10 minutes drive from San Gimignano and within easy reach of a good number of interesting places to visit in mid-Tuscany.
