Having just arrived back after 4 weeks travelling around europe and sampling various hotels, I confidently recommend the Beausite. Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July 2007. Large spacious room, very clean. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help. The hotel is situated about a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and there are a number of Restaurants nearby. We stayed in a room at the rear and never experienced any traffic noise.... more

Our stay was blighted by the constant traffic noise despite a cat. A room. Moreover our request to move to a quieter room was ignored. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. The breakfast toaster broke on day 2 and was not fixed by day 5....is a new toaster all that expensive. Leaving these matters aside staff were helpful and food... more

we booked through hotelpronto.com and got hotel a LOT cheaper than their own web prices. it's classed as a 3* hotel that puts most 4* Hotels to shame,we tend to agree to a point tho pictures of the room on hotels own website DIDNT match the rooms we got!!! these were very 70's in decor,but DIDNT smell of stale smoke.... more
